Welcome to Mountain Wisdom, where where we weave Mother Natures greatest gifts together with time tested techniques to create nourishing herbal healing products.
Mountain Wisdom was created in Golden, British Columbia in 2022. Nestled between the Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges we are well acquainted with all the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer. Mountain Wisdom started in our tiny house kitchen with hours of recipe experimentation for our own personal use before realizing that we were not the only ones struggling with finding high quality, natural healing products to add to our healing routines. At Mountain Wisdom we aim to bring nature and ancestral wisdom back to the healing process because we believe that nature knows best.
We create all of our products with our four pillars in mind:
1. Ethical sourcing and sustainable wild-crafting – We ensure that we only source herbs from the highest quality sources and that we always follow sustainable wild-crafting techniques when foraging in the wild. We believe in complete transparency, that’s why origins of our ingredients are always available upon request
2. Handmade in small batches – Small batches allows us to intentionally create and improve every bottle that is sent out, so you can be sure that you are only adding the highest quality products to your healing routine. Creating in small batches also allows us to minimize our waste and therefore our impact on the environment.
3. Supporting small – When possible we source our ingredients from small business and farms, this allows us to minimize our environmental impact while supporting local to our region farmers and businesses.
4. Rooted in tradition – We use traditional techniques and ingredients in the creation of all of our products, these techniques have stood the test of time for making the highest quality products that last, no harmful chemicals or synthetic preservatives needed.
Here we will cover all things natural healing/skincare, non toxic living, tiny house life and of course product updates. Thank you for joining us on this journey of rewilding.
